Lithko’ s The Wrecking Balls Volleyball Team History

The Wrecking Balls were founded in early 2024 by a group of passionate volleyball enthusiasts at Lithko. The team quickly gained popularity in the local league due to their energetic play style and strong team spirit.

First Three Seasons (2024): In 2024, the Wrecking Balls played three intense seasons. The first two seasons were held at Shoreline Social, where the team quickly became a fan favorite. Despite being a new team, they showed great promise and finished strong in both seasons. By the third season, they had moved to a new venue, 50 West, which brought in more fans and provided better facilities for training and matches. The team continued to improve and made a lot of progress throughout the year.

New Season (2025): As the Wrecking Balls gear up for the 2025 season, they are more determined than ever to build on their previous successes. Their mascot, Miley Cyrus, remains a beloved figure, often seen cheering from the sidelines and engaging with fans. The team continues to be a symbol of community pride and inspires young athletes at Lithko.
